# 1 Introduction

ADLINK’s DLAP-4100 Series embedded computing platforms, incorporating 12th, 13th, and 14th Generation Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5/i3 desktop processors with the Intel® Q670 chipset, provide one DisplayPort, two HDMI ports, 2.5G and 1G Ethernet ports, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Gen 1 ports, USB 2.0 ports, two 2.5-inch SSD trays, and one PCIe Gen 5 x16 slot. Designed for easy maintenance in industrial automation environments, the system features a compact size and optimized thermal design, and supports the latest graphics cards such as the NVIDIA RTX 6000 ADA.

Before unpacking, check the shipping carton for any damage. If the shipping carton and/or contents are damaged, inform your dealer immediately. Retain the shipping carton and packing materials for inspection. Obtain authorization from your dealer before returning any product to ADLINK. Ensure that the following items are included in the package.

# 7 Connector Pinouts and Jumper Settings

# Power Button

The power button is a non-latching push button with a blue LED indicator. The system turns on when the button is pressed, and the power LED lights up. If the system becomes unresponsive, press and hold the button for 5 seconds to force a complete shutdown.

# Storage Indicator

The Storage Indicator indicates the HDD/SSD operating state. When the storage is active, the LED indicator flashes red.

# Reset Button

The reset button executes a hard reset for the DLAP-4100.

# Extended Power Connector

An external connector is provided for the power buttons, with pin definitions as shown below.

# USB 2.0 Ports

The DLAP-4100 provides two USB 2.0 ports with Type-A connectors on the front panel. All USB ports are compatible with high-speed, full-speed, and low-speed USB devices. The DLAP-4100 supports multiple boot devices, including USB flash drives, external USB hard drives, USB floppy drives, USB CD-ROMs, and others. Boot priority and boot devices can be configured in the BIOS.

# USB 3.1 Ports

The DLAP-4100 provides four USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports on the front panel. All USB 3.1 ports are compatible with SuperSpeed, high-speed, full-speed, and low-speed USB devices.

# Ethernet Ports

LAN1: 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps Ethernet controller based on Intel® i226-LM.

LAN2: 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet controller based on Intel® i219-V, with vPro support.

Both support PXE and WOL.

The SATA connectors support transfers up to 6.0Gb/s (600MB/s).

# Clear CMOS (CLCMOS1)

If the DLAP-4100 encounters an abnormal condition that prevents it from booting, the jumper can be used to clear the BIOS content stored in CMOS and restore the default settings. To clear the CMOS, short pin 2 and pin 3 for at least 3 seconds, then move the jumper back to pins 1 and 2 (default) to return to normal operation.

# Menu Structure

This section presents the six primary menus of the UEFI (BIOS) Setup Utility. Use the following table as a quick reference for the contents of the BIOS Setup Utility. The subsections in this section describe the submenus and setting options for each menu item. The function of each setting is described in the right-hand column of the respective table.
